Hollywood's Latest Trend:

Apparently dying is all the rage these days. The news has been absolutely morbid lately. It seems like every other day someone famous is dropping dead. I mean really, look at this line up (all dead within one week):

I'm practically holding my breath and waiting to see who's next. Is anyone else disturbed by the number of celebrity deaths lately?

  1. yes. another person died -- Fred Travellina. He was an older comedian who did impressions.

  2. Stopping over at your blog. Saw that you love Jane Austin and Charlotte Bronte. Me too! Such a sad time that we lost such wonderful stars.

  3. Ivy: I know! It's creeping me out!

Robyn: Aaaah! If this continues the tabloids will turn into obituary booklets...

OceanDreams: I agree! I love stories from that era. I think the way everyone wrote happy endings shows their desperation for one of their own...it's makes for some wonderfully bittersweet reading. :)

  5. I agree Carrie... It's kind of strange. I guess in the grand scheme of things it's not really strange... I mean, plenty of people die every day... but we're just not used to that many celebrities dying at a time. I realized I was dating myself at work yesterday when I was trying to tell one of the girls who Ed was... she had never heard of Star Search... I guess I'm really a child of the 80's =)
I'm so jealous you have a pool!!

  6. Auri: The pool isn't actually mine; it's my grandma's. But it's still great because I have unlimited access. =)
